Do you picture your book here?
Because I do.
Did you know that triangles are one of the strongest shapes?
Don’t believe me? It’s true.
You are probably wondering why I am going on and on about the strength of triangles.
What do triangles and book coaches have in common?
Three things:
Stability, Strength, and Efficient Force Distribution (a fancy way of saying it supports the load effectively)
Having a support structure in place lets writers thrive in their environment.
Stability
Organizes the writing process
Sets deadlines
Tracks progress to keep the writer on schedule
Holds them accountable for their goals
Project Management
Strength
Provides honest feedback with empathy and free from criticisim
Focuses on the big picture ideas of the manuscript
Helps identify story logic challenges
Brainstorm revisions with the writer to enhance the quality of the story
Developmental Editor
Efficient Force Distribution
Helps manage the challenges of the creative process
Creates a safe space for the writer to share their ideas freely
Provides support and encouragement for the writer when they lose confidence in themselves
Holds a vision of the final project in their mind, even if the writer can’t see it
Emotional Support
My promise as a book coach:
I wish I could make promises that your book will be published and that a big movie deal is coming your way.
But it would be sneaky of me to make those claims.
What I can promise is that I help reduce the stress of writing and provide a foundation and encouragement so you can do your best work. I will be your triangle providing strength and stability, and effectively support the heavy load of telling your story.
Writing is personal and sometimes painful. I promise to be your ultimate hype girl and cheer you on every step of the way.
I love stories, and the world needs more of them.
Your story matters.
It’s time to tell it.
