The Book End
Investment: $450
The end of the story should provide change, answers, and resolution. By this point, the mental fatigue of drafting a book is high, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. The end is close, and it can make it harder to draft a finish that will satisfy readers.
The Book End is an analysis of the final chapters while revisiting the opening scenes. It is an examination of the initial set up and the final resolution where questions are answered and characters change.
Best for writers who:
are revising the ending and aren’t happy with the results
drafted an ending that doesn’t provide resolutions
have revised their ending several times and still aren’t happy
have received feedback but don’t know what to change and what to keep.
The Book End compares the end to the beginning.
We start with a goal-setting call to talk about what you think is working well, what issues you have, and your frustrations. You’ll then submit the last four chapters of your manuscript up to 30 pages as well as the first three chapters. You will also fill out and submit a Story Snapshot Evaluation.
Once I complete my analysis, you will receive written feedback including actionable next steps. You will also receive a link to schedule your coaching call.
The 60-minute call is to talk about the feedback, ask questions, and look at next steps to help with continued drafting and revisions.
